Presidente editou Medida Provisória nessa semana
Por Agência Brasil
A Presidência da República liberou R$ 6,5 bilhões em crédito extraordinário para a recuperação de áreas afetadas por eventos climáticos extremos. A medida provisória foi editada nesta terça-feira (24) pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
Os recursos poderão ser usados pelo Ministério das Cidades para viabilizar a recuperação de infraestrutura dessas áreas.
No início de dezembro, a Presidência já tinha editado uma medida provisória que autorizava a União a participar de um fundo privado administrado pela Caixa Econômica Federal, para a recuperação de áreas atingidas por desastres.
De acordo com a Presidência, essas verbas serão destinadas especificamente ao Rio Grande do Sul, afetado por enchentes entre abril e maio deste ano.
