Janeiro está sem tarifa custo extra na conta de luz

O ano de 2026 começou com redução no valor das contas de energia elétrica com a bandeira verde na tarifa de energia, ou seja, sem custo extra. Para o próximo mês, a Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) informou que a decisão sobre a bandeira tarifária será anunciada no dia 30 de janeiro, conforme calendário divulgado pela agência reguladora nesta semana.
Pelo calendário, o consumidor pode acompanhar as decisões da Aneel a respeito das bandeiras tarifárias que vigorarão a cada mês no decorrer do ano de 2026. Nas datas previstas, será divulgada a cor da bandeira que estará vigente no mês seguinte.
No dia 27 de fevereiro, sairá a definição sobre a bandeira a ser aplicada em março e, no mesmo dia de março (27), sai a bandeira de abril. A definição da bandeira tarifária de maio será divulgada no dia 24 de abril.
A bandeira de junho, será conhecida no dia 29 de maio. Para julho, a Aneel disse que vai divulgar a bandeira no dia 26 de junho. A bandeira a ser aplicada em agosto será divulgada no dia 31 de julho. A de setembro sairá no dia 28 de agosto; e a de outubro, no dia 25 de setembro.
Por fim, a bandeira tarifária que será aplicada em novembro será anunciada no dia 30 de outubro. A bandeira de dezembro será conhecida no dia 27 de novembro. Já a bandeira a ser aplicada em janeiro de 2027, sairá no dia 23 de dezembro.
Custos extras
Criado em 2015 pela Aneel, o sistema de bandeiras tarifárias reflete os custos variáveis da geração de energia elétrica. Divididas em cores, as bandeiras indicam quanto está custando para o Sistema Interligado Nacional (SIN) gerar a energia usada nas residências, em estabelecimentos comerciais e nas indústrias.
A cada mês, as condições de operação do sistema de geração de energia elétrica são reavaliadas pelo Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico (ONS), que define a melhor estratégia de geração de energia para atendimento da demanda e traça uma previsão de custos a serem cobertos pelas bandeiras.
Portanto, as cores das bandeiras tarifárias são definidas a partir da previsão de variação do custo da energia em cada mês. Quando a conta de luz é calculada pela bandeira verde, não há nenhum acréscimo. Quando são aplicadas as bandeiras vermelha ou amarela, a conta sofre acréscimo a cada 100 quilowatts-hora (kWh) consumido.
Importante observar que, anualmente, ao final do período úmido, em abril, a Aneel define o valor das Bandeiras Tarifárias para o ciclo seguinte. Atualmente os valores cobrados são os seguintes: na bandeira amarela, com condições de geração menos favoráveis, a tarifa sofre acréscimo de R$ 1,88 para cada 100 quilowatt-hora (kWh) consumidos; na bandeira vermelha, no Patamar 1, com condições mais custosas de geração, a tarifa sofre acréscimo de R$ 4,46 para 100 quilowatt-hora kWh consumido.
Já na bandeira vermelha, no Patamar 2, as condições de geração são ainda mais custosas. Com isso, a tarifa sofre acréscimo de R$ 7,87 para cada 100 quilowatt-hora kWh consumido.
