A população de Malhada de Pedras acaba de receber uma excelente notícia: a Companhia de Ação Regional (CAR), vinculada ao Governo da Bahia, anunciou a abertura de licitação para a construção de duas passagens molhadas no município, localizadas nas comunidades de Lagoa do Boi e Lagoa da Cacimba. O aviso oficial foi publicado no Diário Oficial do Estado, na edição do último dia 11 de agosto.
A conquista é fruto da articulação dos deputados Waldenor Pereira (federal) e Zé Raimundo (estadual), em atenção ao vereador Fernando Ataíde, que apresentou o pleito ao Governo da Bahia. Para assegurar a realização da obra, os parlamentares destinaram, por meio de emenda, o valor de R$ 455.392,21. As passagens molhadas representam um investimento essencial para a mobilidade e a segurança da população local, especialmente em períodos de chuva, quando o tráfego nas comunidades fica comprometido.
Segundo Waldenor e Zé Raimundo, esta conquista reforça a parceria consolidada com Malhada de Pedras, mas também a continuidade da luta iniciada em 2022, quando esses pleitos começaram a ser apresentados. “Estamos felizes em dar retorno positivo às demandas do vereador Fernando, em parceria com o prefeito Beto de Preto Neto, e, principalmente, em contribuir com melhorias que terão impacto direto na vida do povo de Malhada de Pedras. Continuaremos acompanhando todo o processo até a conclusão das passagens molhadas”, afirmaram os parlamentares.
Com o processo licitatório em andamento, a expectativa é de que em breve as obras sejam iniciadas, garantindo mais infraestrutura e qualidade de vida para os moradores da região.
