O Projeto Março Mulher, iniciativa criada em 2025 pela primeira-dama e presidente do Conselho Municipal da Mulher, a advogada Abiara Meira Dias, realizou nos dias 14 e 15 últimos sua segunda edição nos Distritos de Umburanas e Ubiraçaba, respectivamente. A ação tem como objetivo oferecer acolhimento, serviços de Saúde e beleza, atividades culturais e momentos de integração às mulheres da sede e da zona rural do município.
No sábado (14), a programação ocorreu na Escola Municipal em Tempo Integral Américo Zizico Nascimento, em Umburanas. Já no domingo (15), foi a vez do Colégio Municipal de Tempo Integral Manoel Fernandes Santos, em Ubiraçaba, receber o evento. Em ambas as localidades, o público contou com apresentações culturais e o show da cantora Silvia Mello, que animou as participantes.
Entre os serviços disponibilizados, destacaram-se os atendimentos de beleza – como cuidados com cabelo, maquiagem e unhas – e os serviços de Saúde, incluindo vacinação, orientações odontológicas e rodas de conversa com Psicólogos. Também foram oferecidas informações sobre programas socioassistenciais oferecidos pela Administração Municipal, além de atividades físicas e recreativas.
A programação abriu espaço para que alunas das Escolas Municipais apresentassem números de dança e encenações teatrais abordando temas como a proteção das mulheres, a força feminina e o papel da voz feminina na sociedade.
O prefeito Fabrício Abrantes Pires de Souza Oliveira (Avante) e a primeira-dama Abiara Meira Dias acompanharam as atividades nos dois Distritos e ressaltaram a importância do Projeto, que busca fortalecer as políticas públicas voltadas para as mulheres. O prefeito destacou que investir em políticas públicas voltadas às mulheres é investir no futuro da sociedade, enquanto a primeira-dama reforçou que o Projeto representa um espaço de acolhimento e oportunidades, capaz de transformar vidas e ampliar horizontes.
O Março Mulher é realizado em parceria entre a Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social e Cidadania e o Conselho Municipal da Mulher, contando com o apoio das Secretarias Municipais de Administração, de Educação, da Saúde, da Infraestrutura, Serviços Públicos e Desenvolvimento Urbano, da Cultura, Esporte e Lazer, além da Comunicação Social.
As próximas etapas do Projeto já estão confirmadas: no dia 22 de março, o evento será realizado no Povoado de Arrecife, e no dia 28, em Lagoa Funda.
