A Prefeitura Municipal de Planalto, através da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, inaugurou no último dia 9, o Laboratório Municipal, iniciativa considerada um marco para a Saúde Pública do município. A nova estrutura, instalada em área estratégica da sede municipal, tem como objetivo ampliar o acesso da população a exames laboratoriais, reduzir filas de espera, evitar deslocamentos para outros centros e fortalecer a Rede de Atenção Básica.
O Laboratório Municipal foi equipado com tecnologia moderna e conta com profissionais especializados para atender diferentes demandas da rede municipal de Saúde. Serão realizados exames de rotina, análises clínicas e testes voltados para o diagnóstico de doenças crônicas e infecciosas. A expectativa é de que expressivo número de pacientes sejam beneficiados mensalmente, sem necessidade de deslocamento para cidades vizinhas.
Segundo a secretária municipal de Saúde, Ana Luísa Pereira Nascimento, o espaço foi planejado para funcionar em regime de alta produtividade, com capacidade para atender tanto encaminhamentos das Unidades Básicas de Saúde quanto demandas de Programas específicos, como acompanhamento de gestantes, hipertensos e diabéticos.
Até então, Planalto dependia de convênios externos ou da rede privada para a realização de exames laboratoriais, o que gerava custos adicionais e longas esperas. Com a inauguração, a Prefeitura busca reduzir a demanda reprimidae garantir maior agilidade nos diagnósticos, fator essencial para o tratamento precoce e eficaz de diversas enfermidades.
O prefeito Cloves Alves Andrade (PT) destacou que o Laboratório representa um avanço significativo na política de Saúde Pública do município. Segundo o prefeito, a nova estrutura vai impactar diretamente a vida das pessoas, oferecendo dignidade e acesso rápido a exames que antes demoravam semanas para serem liberados.
A cerimônia de inauguração contou com a presença de autoridades municipais, profissionais de Saúde e populares, todos destacando a importância da iniciativa.
Segundo fontes da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, além dos atendimentos imediatos, o Laboratório Municipal também será utilizado para ações de Vigilância Epidemiológica, monitoramento de surtos e apoio a campanhas preventivas. A proposta da Prefeitura Municipal, através da Secretaria Municipal de Planalto é ampliar gradualmente os serviços, incluindo exames mais complexos e parcerias com Universidades.
Para a população de Planalto, a inauguração do laboratório Municipal simboliza não apenas um avanço técnico, mas também um gesto de valorização da Saúde Pública, reforçando o compromisso do prefeito Cloves Alves Andrade (PT) de oferecer serviços de Saúde Pública mais eficientes e humanizados.
