Eleitoras e eleitores têm até 19 de maio para buscar a Justiça Eleitoral e evitar o cancelamento do Título

Na Bahia, mais de 260 mil pessoas estão com risco de ter a inscrição eleitoral cancelada por não votarem, não justificarem a ausência às urnas e não quitarem as multas referentes às três últimas eleições consecutivas. O número está disponível no portal de estatísticas do TSE. Os eleitores que estão nessas condições devem procurar a Justiça Eleitoral até o dia 19 de maio de 2025 e, assim, evitar o cancelamento do título.
Como consultar a situação eleitoral
Eleitoras e eleitores podem consultar se estão com pendências na Justiça Eleitoral pelos seguintes canais: site do TRE-BA (www.tre-ba.jus.br), aplicativo e-Título (disponível gratuitamente para Android e iOS) ou pelo telefone (71) 3373-7000. A consulta também pode ser feita presencialmente em um cartório eleitoral ou nos postos da Justiça Eleitoral.
Como regularizar a situação
Após consultar a situação eleitoral e identificar alguma pendência, como débitos eleitorais decorrentes de multas por ausência às urnas ou aos trabalhos eleitorais, a eleitora ou o eleitor deve primeiro quitar as multas pelo Autoatendimento Eleitoral. Somente após o pagamento, será possível concluir a regularização e evitar o cancelamento definitivo do título.
Outra opção é buscar atendimento presencial no TRE-BA. Em Salvador e no interior do estado, o serviço está disponível nos Cartórios Eleitorais, nos postos descentralizados da Justiça Eleitoral e nos postos do Serviço de Atendimento ao Cidadão (SAC). Na capital, também é possível ser atendido na Central de Atendimento ao Público – sede do TRE-BA- localizada no CAB. Confira aqui a lista completa de locais de atendimento na capital e no interior.
Consequências do cancelamento
Os eleitores que tiverem o título cancelado não poderão: inscrever-se em concurso público, tomar posse em cargo ou função pública, receber salários ou proventos de emprego público, participar de licitação ou concorrência pública, obter empréstimos em instituições financeiras públicas ou que tenham participação do governo, emitir passaporte ou carteira de identidade (exceto para quem está no exterior e precise retornar ao Brasil), renovar matrícula em instituições de ensino oficiais ou fiscalizadas pelo governo, além de realizar atos que exijam quitação com o serviço militar ou com a Receita Federal (art. 7º, §1º, do Código Eleitoral).
