POR LUCIMAR ALMEIDA – JS
Uma parceria celebrada entre a Prefeitura Municipal de Igaporã e o Governo do Estado, através de Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, resultará na realização de um Mutirão de Mamografias com expectativa de beneficiar mais de 1.400 mulheres no município. A iniciativa visa ampliar o acesso ao Exame de Mamografia, fundamental na detecção precoce do Câncer de Mama, uma das doenças que mais acometem mulheres no país, e integra as estratégias da Atenção Primária à Saúde do município.
De acordo com o prefeito Newton Francisco – Neto – Neves Cotrim (PT), a ação faz parte de um esforço conjunto da Prefeitura Municipal e do Governo da Bahia, através das Secretarias Municipal e do Estado da Saúde, para fortalecer a Saúde Preventiva em Igaporã, que vai atender, inclusive mulheres da zona rural, que terão apoio para poder se deslocar para a sede municipal.
Os agendamentos para mulheres da sede e zona rural deverão ser feitos nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde, Unidades de Saúde do Programa Saúde da Família ou por meio do Agentes Comunitários de Saúde.. Os documentos exigidos para o cadastro são RG, CPF, Cartão do SUS e Comprovante de Residência.
O Mutirão acontecerá a partir desta sexta-feira (16) e se estenderá até o próximo dia 27. A Carreta do Programa Estadual de Rastreamento de Câncer de Mama da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia estará estacionada na Praça José de Brito Gondim e o atendimento será realizado entre as 7hs30 e 17h00, com intervalo para almoço entre 12h e 13h.
O público alvo do Mutirão são mulheres com idade entre 50 e 69 anos, faixa etária considerada de risco. No entanto, em alguns casos, a faixa etária poderá ser ampliada para incluir mulheres com idade entre 40 e 49 anos, especialmente aquelas com histórico familiar de Câncer de mama.
A secretária municipal de Saúde Laíse Fagundes Farias destacou a importância da parceria celebrada com a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, formalizada pelo prefeito Newton Francisco – Neto – Neves Cotrim, para a melhoria dos serviços de Saúde oferecidos à população, especificamente o atendimento às mulheres no Mutirão do Rastreamento do Câncer de Mama. “Essa ação mostra como a união entre os entes públicos pode gerar um impacto positivo na vida das pessoas. O compromisso do prefeito Neto (Newton Francisco Neves Cotrim) é garantir que todas as mulheres tenham a oportunidade de fazer o exame sem dificuldades e, assim, aumentar as chances de detecção precoce do Câncer de Mama.”
A iniciativa também inclui orientações sobre a importância do exame regular, além de ações de conscientização sobre fatores de risco e cuidados com a Saúde da Mulher. A expectativa, reforça a secretário Laíse Fagundes Farias, é de que, além do diagnóstico precoce, o Mutirão estimule a conscientização sobre a importância do acompanhamento médico contínuo.
