Na última sexta-feira, 11 de abril, a Prefeitura Municipal de Berlo Campo, através da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, promoveu uma ação significativa em prol da cidadania por meio do Projeto Centro de Referência em Assistência Social (Cras) Mais Rural, realizado no Povoado de Serrinha de José Moço. Coordenada pela Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, por meio do Centro de Referência em Assistência Social, a iniciativa contou com a parceria estratégica da equipe da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, com participação efeitva dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (ACS), com o objetivo de descentralizar os serviços socioassistenciais e ampliar o acesso da população que reside em áreas distantes da sede do município.
O evento reuniu moradores, representantes da Associação local, Agentes de Saúde, colaboradores do Centro de Referência Especializado em Assistência Social (Creas) e membros da Defesa Civil, fortalecendo a proposta de trabalho em rede. A Coordenadora do Cras, Psicóloga Leomara Tigre Neves, destacou que “essa é uma ação piloto que será expandida para outras comunidades rurais, assegurando que mais famílias tenham acesso à proteção social básica.”
Durante a atividade, os moradores puderam receber diversos atendimentos, incluindo orientações sobre o Passe Livre, Carteira do Idoso, benefícios do Inss (Instituto Nacional de Seguridade Social), gratuidade de documentos, encaminhamentos jurídicos e informações sobre o Bolsa Família. Uma palestra sobre o Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC) também foi realizada, abordando questões essenciais para pessoas idosas e com deficiência em situação de vulnerabilidade.
Um dos momentos marcantes do encontro foi a Pré-Conferência de Assistência Social, com o tema “20 anos do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (Suas): desafios e conquistas”. Os participantes refletiram sobre os cinco eixos temáticos propostos em nível nacional, discutindo avanços e apresentando sugestões que serão levadas à Conferência Municipal. A escuta ativa da população destaca a importância da democracia na política de assistência social e fortalece o controle social.
O morador Vivaldo expressou a relevância da iniciativa: “É muito bom porque traz os benefícios até a nossa localidade e nos permite conhecer muitos serviços que são oferecidos à população”, afirmou ele.
O Cras Mais Rural representa um progresso significativo no cuidado às famílias do campo, reafirmando o compromisso da gestão municipal com a equidade, a inclusão social e o fortalecimento de políticas públicas que garantam dignidade e direitos.
