Setor cresceu 25,8% na comparação de fevereiro com o ano passado

A produção de motocicletas em fevereiro de 2025 foi de 176 mil unidades, o que representa um aumento de 25,8% em relação a fevereiro de 2024 e de 6,4% perante janeiro de 2025. Os dados são da Abraciclo e incluem apenas o Pólo Industrial de Manaus, que concentra a maior parte da produção do Brasil.
O setor apresenta crescimento desde que se recuperou da crise do meio da década passada, com um salto de 883 mil unidades em 2018 para uma previsão de 1,8 milhão de unidades neste ano, o terceiro maior número desde 1975.
Os anos de maior produção no setor foram 2011, com 2.136.891 de motociclietas; e 2008, com 2.140.907.
As importações têm se mantido estáveis nos últimos 10 anos, no patamar de 250 mil unidades/ano, com amplo domínio chinês, acima de 90%.
As três categorias mais produzidas no primeiro bimestre e em fevereiro foram street [baixa ou média cilindrada para uso urbano], trail [utilizada tanto em vias pavimentadas e estradas de chão] e motoneta [scooters e similares]. Nos dois primeiros meses, saíram das linhas de montagem 179.677 unidades da street, o que corresponde a 52,4% do total fabricado. A produção da categoria trail atingiu 69.057 motocicletas (20,1% da produção), e a da Motoneta somou 46.000 unidades (13,4%).
Os emplacamentos também seguem em alta, com previsão de vendas na casa de 2 milhões de unidades em 2025. O setor vendeu 308 mil unidades no bimestre, 10% a mais do que no mesmo período em 2024. Foi o melhor primeiro bimestre já registrado pela entidade, com o adendo de que houve retração em vendas (-1,3%) no Sudeste, maior mercado, mas expansão no Nordeste (23,8%) e no Sul (21,4%).
