POR JOSÉ PAIXÃO BARBOSA -ASCOM TCE/BA
O presidente do Tribunal de Contas do Estado da Bahia (TCE/BA), Conselheiro Marcus Presidio, informou, na sessão plenária da quinta-feira (08), que requereu à Secretaria de Controle Externo da Corte de Contas que apure, em Auditoria, se existem eventuais descontos indevidos nos pagamentos aos aposentados e pensionistas da Previdência Estadual. A medida foi adotada após virem à tona investigações que revelaram fraudes e desvios de recursos em benefícios previdenciários do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS)
“Quero deixar claro que, no momento, não há indícios de irregularidades nos pagamentos aos servidores públicos aposentados, mas é importante que esta Corte promova a devida fiscalização quanto a esse aspecto. Com essa medida, estamos reforçando a atuação do controle externo diante das recentes notícias, de ampla repercussão, as quais revelaram ao país o desvio, mediante descontos não autorizados, de recursos dos segurados do INSS”, destacou o presidente.
O TCE-BA irá realizar uma Auditoria de levantamento na folha de pagamento de aposentados e pensionistas, com foco na análise dos descontos aplicados, buscando identificar eventuais inconsistências ou cobranças indevidas. A iniciativa reforça o compromisso da Corte baiana com a transparência e o zelo pelos recursos públicos, especialmente diante da relevância social da Previdência Pública. Ainda não há data para o início dos trabalhos dos auditores, mas a expectativa é que isto aconteça nos próximos dias.
O presidente reiterou que, apesar de não existir nenhuma indicação, a princípio, de que os fatos noticiados recentemente também estejam afetando a folha do Estado da Bahia, o TCE precisa estar atento para que o erário estadual e os servidores tenham a confiança nos controles existentes sobre as folhas de pagamento. “Foi justamente para que todos estejam seguros e confiantes sobre os controles existentes que fiz o requerimento à unidade técnica para que atuasse preventivamente com essa auditoria” explicou.
