Mais de 180 músicos estarão reunidos em Vitória da Conquista no próximo domingo, dia 10 de agosto, para a 5ª edição do Encontro de Orquestras, promovido pelo Núcleo Territorial Neojiba de Vitória da Conquista. Realizado com recursos de emenda parlamentar do deputado federal Waldenor Pereira, o evento acontecerá no Centro de Cultura Camillo de Jesus Lima.
Com entrada gratuita, o maior concerto sinfônico do Sudoeste da Bahia contará com duas sessões, às 16h e 18h. Os ingressos poderão ser retirados na bilheteria do espaço, cerca de uma hora antes de cada apresentação.
Com o tema “Trilhar com Música, Sonhar em Conjunto”, o espetáculo é fruto de um intercâmbio entre 12 diferentes conjuntos musicais da região, e será precedido por uma série de ensaios e oficinas que começam na sexta, dia 9.
A diversidade musical será uma marca do repertório, que contará com músicas como Tico Tico no Fubá, de Zequinha Abreu, Oração ao Tempo, de Caetano Veloso e Eleanor Rigby, dos Beatles. Composições de grandes nomes da música de concerto como Gustav Holst e Edward Elgar também serão apresentadas.
Este ano, participam do Encontro o Núcleo de Prática Musical Cidade Sol, de Jequié; a Orquestra Sinfônica Articultura, de Manoel Vitorino; a Filarmônica Lira Independente de Caetité; a Camerata Clariô, de Itapetinga; a Orquestra de Cordas Identid’arte, de Brumado; e a Orquestra Cultural João Caranha, de Barra do Choça.
Entre os grupos de Vitória da Conquista estão a Orquestra 9 de Novembro e a Orquestra Pedagógica, formações musicais do Neojiba na cidade, além da Camerata Acadêmica do Sertão, a Orquestra Conquista Sinfônica, a Orquestra Escola Joias do Sertão e a Orquestra Semeando Compaixão.
Todos os projetos participantes são iniciativas apoiadas pelo Neojiba no Território.
