Nesta quarta-feira, dia 6 de agosto, a Secretaria de Estado de Políticas para as Mulheres da Bahia realizará a 5ª Conferência Territorial de Políticas para as Mulheres no auditório Do Campus IX da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (Uneb), em Barreiras, iniciando às 8h. Este evento visa promover um espaço de diálogo, escuta e envolvimento entre representantes do poder público, movimentos de mulheres, feministas e a sociedade civil. O principal objetivo é fomentar uma discussão abrangente, avaliar as políticas atuais, propor novas iniciativas e estabelecer prioridades buscando fortalecer a democracia e a igualdade, assegurando a voz e a representação das mulheres na Bahia.
A secretária de Estado de Políticas para as Mulheres Da Bahia, Neusa Cadore, que estará presente no evento, destacou a importância desse momento histórico tanto para a Bahia quanto para o Brasil. “As Conferências são essenciais para nossas ações na Secretaria e também a nível federal, pelo Ministério das Mulheres. Já realizamos Conferências em mais de 160 municípios baianos e agora entramos na fase das Conferências Territoriais, o que demonstra a relevância dessa agenda para os poderes públicos e para a sociedade como um todo. Estamos lutando por um futuro que inclua todas as mulheres em sua diversidade, uma vez que a busca por direitos e igualdade é universal”, afirmou.
Com o tema “Mais democracia, mais igualdade e mais conquista para todas”, a 5ª Conferência Territorial de Políticas para as Mulheres servirá como uma etapa preparatória para a 5ª Conferência Estadual de Políticas para as Mulheres, que ocorrerá entre os dias 27 e 29 de agosto em Salvador, e precederá a Conferência Nacional, também em sua quinta edição, marcada para setembro no Distrito Federal.
As discussões na Conferência serão baseadas em seis eixos temáticos: Participação política paritária e fortalecimento da democracia; Enfrentamento às violências de gênero; Autonomia econômica e mercado de trabalho; Saúde integral, direitos sexuais e reprodutivos; Educação não-sexista e cultura igualitária; e Direito ao Território e Sustentabilidade. A Secretaria de Estado de Políticas para as Mulheres da Bahia organiza as Conferências Territoriais em parceria com o Conselho Estadual de Defesa dos Direitos da Mulher e a Coordenação dos Territórios de Identidade da Bahia.
Durante a Conferência Territorial de Políticas para as Mulheres serão eleitas as Delegadas para a 5ª Conferência Estadual. Uma expectativa importante é o incentivo à criação e fortalecimento de Conselhos e Organismos de Políticas para as Mulheres nos municípios baianos, além da elaboração do Plano Estadual de Políticas para as Mulheres.
