O Ministério da Saúde anunciou a implementação de novas ações de enfrentamento à dengue. O apoio é destinado a estados e municípios em situações mais críticas, com alta transmissão da doença ou número de casos em ascensão e mais de 100 mil habitantes. O foco inicial abrange 80 cidades prioritárias para ações de controle da dengue.
Conforme a secretária de Vigilância em Saúde e Ambiente, Mariângela Simão, a ideia é reduzir os casos graves e os óbitos por dengue. Entre as ações planejadas pela Pasta está, por exemplo, mobilizar a Força Nacional do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) para reorganizar a rede assistencial dos municípios selecionados.
Centros de hidratação
Segundo o MS, no primeiro momento, a Força Nacional do SUS estará preparada para atender os municípios da lista com até 150 centros de hidratação de até 100 leitos cada, com um investimento de até R$ 300 milhões.
Tais espaços se destinam ao acolhimento e à hidratação, seja oral ou venosa, de pacientes com dengue, para evitar agravamentos e internações.
Os centros de hidratação podem ser instalados em UBS ou UPA, em espaços adaptáveis, como auditórios, bibliotecas, refeitórios ou em estruturas temporárias, como tendas, contêineres e galpões.
A Força Nacional do SUS já realizou mais de 3,6 mil atendimentos em São José do Rio Preto (SP), município que lidera o ranking de maior número de casos da doença – sendo 43.731. As cidades de Santarém (PA), Amapá, Macapá e Santana (AP), Porto Velho (RO), Rio Branco (AC), Cuiabá e Várzea Grande (MT), Breves (PA) e Viamão (RS) também receberam missões.
Busca ativa
Os 80 municípios prioritários também receberão apoio do Ministério da Saúde para planejar estratégias de expansão da cobertura vacinal, com ações como busca ativa de não vacinados, monitoramento dos estoques e garantia do abastecimento.
Das 80 localidades, 16 cidades passarão a ofertar a vacina da dengue pela primeira vez, sendo: Itaituba (PA), Botucatu (SP), Loanda (PR), Conchas (SP), Promissão (SP), Querência do Norte (PR), Mirandópolis (SP), Cruzeiro do Sul (AC), Curitiba (PR), Espírito Santo do Pinhal (SP), Monte Santo (BA), Rancharia (SP), Lins (SP), Redenção (PA), Santa Cruz de Monte Castelo (PR) e Novo Progresso (PA).
Outra ação para o controle do mosquito será a distribuição por parte do Ministério da Saúde de 1.260 equipamentos de ultra baixo volume para bloqueio de surtos (UBV) portáteis até o fim de abril. A ferramenta permite maior alcance no interior dos domicílios e supera barreiras físicas, como muros e paredes.
Municípios prioritários
Dos 80 municípios prioritários, 55 são de São Paulo, 14 do Paraná e 11 dos estados da Bahia, Goiás, Rio Grande do Norte, Acre e Pará. Do total de casos no Brasil, 73% estão concentrados em São Paulo, Minas Gerais e Paraná – estados que também concentram 86% dos óbitos. Segundo o MS, a lista estará revisada constantemente para incluir mais cidades, se necessário.

Cenário epidemiológico de dengue no país
O Brasil já registrou 936.135 casos prováveis de dengue em 2025 e 599 óbitos pela doença. Desses, 548.730 registros foram feitos apenas em São Paulo. O estado paulista também lidera em número de mortes por dengue, com 435 confirmações. Os dados são do Painel de Monitoramento das Arboviroses do Ministério da Saúde, atualizado dia 11 de abril.
Em 2025 os casos podem superar os do ano passado, conforme nota técnica publicada pela Saúde no início de janeiro. O documento aponta que este ano o Brasil pode ter uma incidência elevada de casos de arboviroses acima do observado em 2024. As modelagens preditivas do ministério apontam para uma elevação de incidência de casos de arboviroses em estados como São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Tocantins, Mato Grosso do Sul e Paraná.
