A tradicional Exposição Agropecuária de Vitória da Conquista, que este ano chega à sua 54ª edição, contará com um importante reforço para sua realização: os deputados Waldenor Pereira (federal) e Zé Raimundo (estadual) anunciaram a destinação conjunta de R$ 650 mil em emendas parlamentares para apoiar o evento, que acontece entre os dias 4 e 7 de junho no Parque de Exposições Teopompo de Almeida.
A confirmação do recurso foi feita durante reunião realizada na quarta-feira (10), com a presença dos deputados, do presidente da CoopMac (Cooperativa Mista Agropecuária Conquistense), Isaac Silva, dos diretores César Nery e Jackson Costa, além dos secretários estaduais Adolpho Loyola (Relações Institucionais) e Pablo Barrozo (Agricultura), e de lideranças políticas da região.
“Estamos garantindo, junto ao nosso mandato e ao do companheiro Zé Raimundo, os recursos necessários para fortalecer a ExpoConquista, que há décadas movimenta a economia, valoriza o trabalho dos agricultores e reforça a vocação agropecuária da nossa região”, afirmou o deputado federal Waldenor Pereira.
Já o deputado estadual Zé Raimundo destacou o papel estratégico do evento para o interior baiano: “A ExpoConquista é um espaço de encontro entre tradição e inovação no campo. É um evento estratégico para o desenvolvimento regional, e nosso mandato está junto para garantir sua continuidade e fortalecimento”, declarou o deputado estadual.
A ExpoConquista é uma das principais feiras agropecuárias da Bahia, reunindo expositores, produtores, técnicos, estudantes e o público em geral. Além da exposição de animais e produtos, o evento inclui rodadas de negócios, palestras, atividades culturais e shows.
Com o apoio do Governo do Estado e o compromisso dos mandatos parlamentares, a expectativa é de que a edição de 2025 mantenha o sucesso das anteriores e contribua ainda mais para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar e do setor agropecuário regional.
