Os deputados Zé Raimundo (estadual) e Waldenor Pereira (federal) participaram nesta quarta-feira (25), no Parque de Exposições, em Salvador, do lançamento do Plano Safra Bahia 2025/2026, ao lado do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues e do líder do Governo Lula no Senado, o ex-governador Jaques Wagner. O ato foi realizado pelo Governo do Estado por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR) e integra a política nacional do Plano Safra, anunciada em junho pelo presidente Lula.
Com investimento recorde de R$ 89 bilhões para todo o país, o Plano Safra representa o maior volume de recursos já destinados à agricultura familiar no Brasil. Na Bahia, serão aplicados R$ 4,3 bilhões, destinados a ações que fortalecem a produção rural, o cooperativismo, a agroecologia e a comercialização de alimentos saudáveis.
A participação dos deputados Zé Raimundo e Waldenor Pereira reforça o protagonismo da dupla nas lutas em defesa da agricultura familiar. Eles têm atuado juntos por meio de emendas parlamentares e articulações com o governo federal e estadual, em benefício das regiões do Sudoeste, Serra Geral, Médio São Francisco e Chapada Diamantina.
Durante o lançamento, os parlamentares entregaram, junto com o governador, equipamentos, tratores e veículos para associações e prefeituras de municípios baianos, com o objetivo de estruturar a produção agrícola e fortalecer a agricultura familiar. Foram entregues 3 camionetes, 2 tratores com implementos agrícolas, 4 forrageiras e 30 barracas para feiras livres. Desta vez as entregas beneficiam municípios como Anagé, Bom Jesus da Serra, Caraíbas, Tanque Novo, Tremedal, Boquira, Poções e Malhada, além do Centro de Agroecologia do Semiárido-CASA, sediado em Guanambi e atuante em vários municípios da região da Serra Geral.
Ao longo do evento, Zé Raimundo e Waldenor também conversaram com diversas lideranças do interior do estado, fortalecendo a articulação política em torno do desenvolvimento rural e do acesso a políticas públicas que geram oportunidades no campo.
