Estudantes interessados em concorrer às vagas remanescentes do processo seletivo do Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies), referente ao primeiro semestre de 2025, podem fazer a inscrição a partir desta terça-feira (22), por meio do Portal Único de Acesso ao Ensino Superior. O prazo segue até 29 de abril.
De acordo com o edital, o resultado da ordem de classificação e da pré-seleção será divulgado no dia 6 de maio, constituído de chamada única e de lista de espera.
“Caso seja pré-selecionado, o estudante deverá comparecer à Comissão Permanente de Supervisão e Acompanhamento (CPSA) da Instituição de Ensino Superior (IES) nos dias 7 e 8 de maio, no horário de atendimento da IES, para comprovar as informações declaradas no ato da inscrição”, informou o Ministério da Educação.
Entenda
As vagas remanescentes do Fies referem-se às oportunidades de financiamento que não foram preenchidas durante as etapas regulares de seleção do Programa. Elas são destinadas a estudantes que tenham condições de atingir a frequência mínima exigida para concluir o primeiro semestre letivo de 2025 na opção de curso, turno e local de oferta para os quais se inscreveram.
Ainda conforme o Edital, 50% das vagas remanescentes serão reservadas para candidatos com renda familiar por pessoa de até meio salário mínimo, inscritos no Cadastro Único para Programas Sociais do Governo Federal (CadÚnico), conforme determinam as regras do Fies Social.
Já para candidatos autodeclarados pretos, pardos, indígenas, quilombolas e pessoas com deficiência, serão reservadas vagas em percentual de acordo com a proporção da população na Unidade da Federação onde está instalada a Instituição de Ensino, tendo como base o último censo do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE).
“Pré-selecionados pelo Fies Social poderão solicitar a contratação de financiamento de até 100% dos encargos educacionais cobrados pelas instituições. Eles serão identificados automaticamente pelo Fies Seleção a partir de base de dados do CadÚnico, fornecida ao MEC pelo Ministério do Desenvolvimento e Assistência Social, Família e Combate à Fome”, completou o Ministério da Educação.
Podem se inscrever no processo seletivo os candidatos que, cumulativamente, atendam às seguintes condições:
• ter participado do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem) a partir da edição de 2010, com nota no Exame válida até o momento anterior à abertura das inscrições;
• ter obtido média aritmética das notas nas cinco provas igual ou superior a 450 pontos e nota na prova de Redação superior a zero;
• não ter participado do Enem como treineiro;
• possuir renda familiar mensal bruta per capita de até três salários mínimos;
• possuir, obrigatoriamente, condições de atingir a frequência mínima exigida para o semestre letivo referente ao primeiro semestre de 2025, no curso, turno e local de oferta da Instituição de Ensino Superior para o qual se inscrever.
Vagas
Em 2025, o Ministério da Educação vai ofertar mais de 112 mil vagas para o Fies. Dessas, 67.301 foram disponibilizadas no primeiro semestre. As demais serão oferecidas no processo seletivo do segundo semestre – inclusive aquelas eventualmente não forem preenchidas após o final da convocação das vagas remanescentes do primeiro semestre.
