A Prefeitura de Itambé, através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Cultura, por meio da Coordenação Municipal de Esportes e Lazer (Comel), realiza no próximo 22 de fevereiroaCorrida e Caminhada Júlio Amorim, evento que une incentivo à prática esportiva, promoção da saúde e homenagem ao corredor itambeense Júlio Alves Amorim, de 81 anos, falecido em 11 de janeiro durante uma prova de rua em Vitória da Conquista.
Apaixonado pelo atletismo, Júlio Amorim tornou-se referência de disposição e dedicação ao esporte. Agora, seu nome passa a integrar oficialmente o Calendário de Corridas de Rua da região Sudoeste.
As inscrições para o primeiro lote se esgotaram rapidamente. Diante da alta procura, a organização decidiu liberar vagas em etapas. O segundo lote será aberto nesta quinta-feira, 29 de janeiro, às 10h.
Detalhes da prova
- Caminhada de 3 km: voltada para iniciantes e famílias.
- Corrida de 5 km: percurso técnico pelas ruas da cidade.
- Largada: Praça Osório Ferraz, às 8h.
As vagas são limitadas para garantir segurança e organização. Os inscritos receberão kit com camisa oficial, número de peito e medalha de participação. A retirada será feita na sede da Coordenação Municipal de Esporte e Lazer (Comel), em datas a serem divulgadas.
