A manhã desta terça-feira (28) foi marcada por uma importante reunião entre o
Presidente da Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista, Ivan Cordeiro (PL), e o
Presidente da Federação das Indústrias do Estado da Bahia (Fieb), Carlos
Henrique Passos. Na oportunidade, foram discutidas demandas locais e possíveis
soluções que permitirão avanços no fortalecimento econômico da Região
Sudoeste, a exemplo de investimentos na formação de mão de obra qualificada e
no fortalecimento da produção industrial do município.
A reunião contou também com a participação do Chefe de Gabinete da
Presidência da Câmara Municipal, Rafael Nunes, da Gerente do Sesi, Antônia
Bezerra, da Superintendente Executiva do Instituto Euvaldo Lodi (IEL), Edneide
Lima, do Diretor-Superintendente do Sesi Bahia, Armando da Costa Neto, e do
Superintendente da Fieb, Vladson Menezes.
O Presidente da Câmara Municipal agradeceu à Fieb pelo apoio às demandas apresentadas. “É muito importante no sentido de sinalizar que temos o apoio também da Federação das Indústrias do Estado da Bahia para com as demandas de Vitória da Conquista e de toda a Região Sudoeste”, apontou ele, ressaltando também que o Legislativo Municipal está de portas abertas para acolher e apoiar as pautas que visam o fortalecimento da competitividade do setor industrial.
Carlos Henrique Passos reafirmou o apoio da Fieb às pautas apresentadas pela Câmara Municipal conquistense, em especial a criação da Região Metropolitana do Sudoeste da Bahia, que está em discussão na Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia. “A Federação entende que é uma ação importante para o fortalecimento econômico, para que possamos pensar de forma metropolitana e não individualmente cada município. Esse pensar junto vai melhorar a vida das pessoas da região e também a atividade econômica aqui de Vitória da Conquista e dos municípios que vão compor essa Região Metropolitana”, projetou.
