Na corrida eleitoral deste domingo (06), um dos candidatos se destaca com folga nas intenções de voto: Tito (Marcos Túlio Laranjeira Rocha), do PSD, apoiado pelo atual prefeito Manoel Rubens Vicente da Cruz (PSD), está consolidado como o favorito para assumir o cargo. A sinergia entre a gestão atual e a candidatura de Tito, ex-secretário municipal de Saúde tem sido vista como um fator determinante para seu sucesso nas urnas. É o que mostra pesquisa realizada pelo Instituto Publicom, contratada pela Rádio Alvorada FM, apontando que o atual prefeito de Palmas de Monte Alto, Manoel Rubens (PSD), está próximo de fazer seu sucessor.
Registrada no Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) sob o número BA-06046/2024, a pesquisa ouviu 385 eleitores de Palmas de Monte Alto, com idade superior a 16 anos, entre os dias 29 e 30 de setembro últimos, na sede e zona rural. A margem de erro da pesquisa é de 4,94 pontos percentuais para mais ou para menos e um nível de confiança de 95%, o que significa que a probabilidade de uma pesquisa ter os mesmos resultados se for aplicada com um outro grupo de pessoas, dentro do mesmo perfil de amostras e com a mesma margem de erro.
O levantamento mostra que o candidato apoiado pelo prefeito Manoel Rubens, Tito (PSD) lidera a corrida eleitoral com 42,3% das intenções de voto.
A Força de Manoel Rubens e a Ascensão de Tito
Cumprindo seu quarto mandato à frente da Prefeitura de Palmas de Monte Alto, Manoel Rubens, chega ao 45º mês da atual gestão com uma aprovação popular próxima de 80%, consolidando-se como uma das mais expressivas lideranças políticas locais e regionais.
Ex-secretário municipal de Saúde e candidato à sucessão municipal, Tito tem utilizado sua proximidade com o prefeito Manoel Rubens para reforçar suas propostas e apresentar continuidade nas políticas públicas implementadas. E a credibilidade emprestada pelo prefeito à campanha de Tito tem refletido nos atos da campanha eleitoral e refletiu na pesquisa Publicom indicando que o candidato governista está à frente com uma margem considerável de intenções de voto sobre seus adversários. Esse cenário reflete não só o prestígio do prefeito Manoel Rubens, mas também a aceitação das ideias e propostas de Tito, que promete dar continuidade a iniciativas sociais e de desenvolvimento econômico da Administração atual.

Ex-prefeito Fernando Laranjeira busca retornar ao comando da Administração Municipal, mas enfrenta dificuldades
O ex-prefeito Fernando Nogueira Laranjeira (Avante), que governou o município por dois mandatos (1997/2000 e 2013/2016), aparece em segundo lugar na pesquisa Publicom, com 28,6% das intenções de voto. Apesar de sua experiência e histórico, Fernando Laranjeira enfrenta o desafio de competir com a popularidade do grupo do atual prefeito, Manoel Rubens (PSD).
Tendo como companheiro de chapa Elias Nunes (Elias Magalhães Pereira Nunes), do Avante, filho do ex-prefeito Eutínio Nunes, Fernando Laranjeira tenta retomar o comando do município apostando no seu legado e na promessa de uma nova gestão, porém, a força do atual Governo tem dificultado o avanço de sua campanha.
Novos Nomes Tentam Se Firmar
O empresário Wilson Lima Nascimento, o Wilson Motos ou “Galego”, do MDB, aparece em terceiro lugar, com 10,1% das intenções de voto. Embora nunca tenha concorrido a cargos eletivos, Wilson é conhecido nos bastidores políticos por seu apoio ao grupo do atual gestor, Manoel Rubens. Sua candidatura, tendo como companheira de chapa a ex-vereadora Ivani Silva Donato (MDB), tenta representar uma alternativa de renovação para o eleitorado.
Já o Arquiteto João Pedro Rocha de Moura Oliveira, que surpreendeu nas eleições de 2020, quando disputou a sucessão municipal e obteve quase 2.800 votos, enfrenta um cenário desafiador em 2024, com apenas 3,1% das intenções de voto. A falta de experiência política e a perda de aliados, incluindo três candidatos a vereador que renunciaram à disputa e declararam apoio a Tito, enfraqueceram sua candidatura. Sua vice-prefeita, Adenuzia dos Santos Araújo (PT), ex-secretária municipal de Assistência Social, rompeu com o grupo de Manoel Rubens, mas essa ruptura não conseguiu impulsionar sua campanha.
Eleitores indecisos e o impacto na reta final
O levantamento do Instituto Publicom também aponta que 15,6% dos eleitores ainda não sabem em quem votar, enquanto 0,3% afirmaram que votariam em branco ou anulariam o voto.
Embora o número de eleitores indecisos, que naturalmente deverão ser o foco da campanha nesta reta final, sugira que a eleição ainda possa passar por reviravolta de última hora, os índices de intenções de voto do candidato Tito (PSD) reforçam a solidez da candidatura e sinalizam que a liderança consolidada deverá garantir a vitória nas urnas do domingo (06).
Continuidade de um Projeto aprovado
Com quase 80% de aprovação em sua atual gestão, o prefeito Manoel Rubens Vicente da Cruz (PSD) segue como a principal força política de Palmas de Monte Alto, e Tito, seu escolhido, caminha para sucedê-lo.
A campanha de Tito tem sido marcada por um discurso de continuidade e melhoria das políticas públicas, especialmente na Saúde, setor em que o candidato tem ampla experiência. Se os números da pesquisa se mantiverem até o dia das eleições, o município deve ver a continuidade de um projeto político que já perdura por quase duas décadas.
A disputa eleitoral continua, mas, com Tito na liderança, a perspectiva de que Manoel Rubens faça seu sucessor parece cada vez mais real.
