Em 2024, campeonato itinerante reuniu mais de 400 cavalos Mangalarga Marchador

Foram iniciados no último dia 14, no Parque de Exposições Teopompo de Almeida, os trabalhos técnicos para a execução do 18° Campeonato Brasileiro de Marcha Picada, marcado para acontecer entre os dias 27 de outubro e 01 de novembro, em Vitória da Conquista.
A cerimônia contou com a presença dos Diretores do Núcleo Mangalarga Marchador do Sudoeste da Bahia (NMMS), representantes da Prefeitura Municipal, da Coopmac – Cooperativa Mista Agropecuária Conquistense, além da Associação Brasileira dos Criadores do Cavalo Mangalarga Marchador (ABCCMM), responsável pela organização do evento.
Este ano, o Campeonato de Marcha Picada, que já faz parte do Calendário Anual de Atividades da Associação Brasileira dos Criadores do Cavalo Mangalarga Marchador, chega ainda mais forte, se consolidando como um dos grandes destaques nacionais para os amantes do Marchador.
Participaram do evento, representando o Núcleo Mangalarga Marchador do Sudoeste da Bahia, Fábio de Oliveira Santos (Presidente), Ademir Osmar Silva Filho (Vice-presidnete), Larissa Nunes Amaral Andrade (Diretora Administrativa), , João Paulo Pinheiro Silva (Diretor Financeiro), Luiz Borges dos Santos Júnior (Diretor de Eventos e Provas Funcionais), Luiz Eduardo Ferraz Lopes (Diretor de Desenvolvimento de Mercado e Social) e André Quadros (ex-Presidente). Pela Associação Brasileira dos Criadores do Cavalo Mangalarga Marchador estiveram presentes Fábio Vilela (Coordenador de Eventos), Gláucia Procopio (Organização de Eventos), Wagner Fonseca (Comercial) e Georgina Penna Costa (Diretora de Eventos). A Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória da Conquista foi representada pelo secretário municipal de Desenvolvimento Rural, Jackson A. Yoshiura; e a Cooperativa Mista Agropecuária Conquistense – Coopmac, pelo Diretor Executivo César Neri.
Segundo a Diretora de Eventos da Associação Brasileira dos Criadores do Cavalo Mangalarga Marchador, Georgina Penna Costa, “esse é um evento muito itinerante, que acontece uma vez por ano, em nível nacional. Nas últimas edições, tivemos 13 Estados representados no evento, com mais de 400 animais participantes”.
“Vitória da Conquista foi escolhida por ser uma cidade do Nordeste que sempre foi um polo muito importante para criação do Mangalarga Marchador. Hoje fizemos a visita técnica ao Parque, que é muito bom. A cidade ainda conta com uma rede hoteleira que atende a nossa demanda e voos para locais como Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, além de uma malha viária muito boa. Isso tudo pesa na hora da decisão da cidade sede do Campeonato”, completou a Diretora.
